Remember when I told you few posts back that I had some news to share? Well, I moved to New York! I've been planning to do this for a while (a looong time), and a few months back I finally bought my one way ticket.
I'm probably on a plane (or already in NY) as you're reading this, but I still really wanted to share my news because I don't think I've ever been so excited/terrified. Excited to start a new life, but most importantly a new career, yet terrified because I am extremely attached to my family and the most I've been away from them is six months. I'm the girl that visits her grandparents religiously every Sunday (their house is my church), and knowing that I'm all on my own and won't get to see my family kills me. Even so, I'm lucky that they are incredibly supportive and believe that I can achieve all that I want to accomplish. When you live in a city like New York and start to doubt yourself and your capabilities, it's nice to have people on your corner to motivate you and tell you "You can do it!"
