Every girl has that holy grail product. You know, the product that makes you have a mini heart attack if you can't find it because you don't know how you are going to survive the day without it. You repurchase it again and again; or if you're like me you even have back ups of it, just in case... So for today's post I wanted to share with you some of my holy grail products, at least the ones that I've repurchased more than twice (so you know how much I love!).
- Anastasia Brow Wiz: By far the only brow product I ever want to use. I know that there are powders, pomades, and a million other choices, but this is brow perfection for me. It has the thinnest nib, perfect for creating the illusion of small hairs to make brows look fuller, and in my case also helps elongate. The color 'Ebony' is perfect for me, it comes with a handy spooly at the other end to brush through the brows, and the formula stays put all day even if I don't use a brow gel.
- NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: I think I've lost count of how many times I've repurchased this. It's the all round perfect concealer: it's pigmented enough to cover my dark circles, it's creamy enough to blend with my fingers, it brightens/highlights, covers blemishes, and doesn't crease on me.
- L'Oreal True Match Foundation: So far in my beauty journey, this is the only foundation I've ever repurchased. The thing with me and foundations is that there are so many out there, that I'm constantly trying different ones. Even so, when I need/want something with medium to full coverage that I can always count on to look flawless, this is it! It's the perfect balance between matte and dewy, lasts very well through out the day, and it's drugstore, so I can still pay for gas. Ten thumbs up (if I had ten thumbs).
- L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara: If you've been following my blog, you might remember me saying that I'm not attached to any one mascara (again, there are too many good ones), but this one made me throw all that non sense out the window! I've bought it three times already on account that I've never received so many compliments about my lashes, evah! Even my sister, Kiara, noticed and trust me when I say this girl is not one to hand out compliments lightly. "Butterfly" indeed since it makes my lashes look fluttery, full, and long without making them look spidery (not really my thing).
- Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion: I've been loyal to for years! I have ultra sensitive skin, and Cetaphil is the only brand I trust when it comes to soap and body lotions because it doesn't make my skin flare up. It's colorless, scentless, very lightweight, yet very creamy and moisturizing. What more can I say, except that I use it every single day and will continue to do so 'til the day I die (no jokes).
- Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream: I won't even go into much detail because I've mentioned it on my blog, oh about...50 times! It's pretty much the Cetaphil equivalent, but for the face, and my favorite moisturizer, period.
- Batiste Dry Shampoo: I am a lazy bum when it comes to my hair, because every time I wash means that I have to blow dry, so anything that can help me avoid that for as long as possible is my BFF (FF). That said, I always seem to come back to this one no matter how many other dry shampoos I try (including high end ones). I find it works the best at refreshing my greasy locks and adding a much needed flowery scent.
- Revlon Base Coat: Was the first base coat I ever bought, and since it did such an amazing job, I never bothered to try a different one. It really makes a difference with the whole chipping-while-opening-a-soda situation, and I definitely notice a difference when I don't use it.
- Pleasures by Estee Lauder Perfume: Has been my 'signature' scent for nine years now. I used to be a waitress, and I remember so many people from work and clients would constantly ask me what perfume I was wearing, and it was always this. Sometimes my friends know when I arrive somewhere before they even see me because they smell it, and if I even try to use something different they say "You don't smell like yourself, no!" It is a very feminine, flowery scent; so if you're looking for a new perfume and that sounds like something up your alley, go give it a try. But be warned, we can no longer be friends because, not to be a *bee-otch*, but I don't like it when my peeps use the same perfume as me (at least not this one).
Let me know in the comments which are some of your holy grail, can't live without them, products.
Thanks for reading!
