Empties

Hello lovelies!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and an even better Monday (although I know Mondays pretty much suck for everyone). My weekend consisted of catching up with Game of Thrones, and oh my god that finale! I also finished off some beauty products, which means it's time for my first ever Empties post. If you've never read one of these or seen one on youtube, it mainly consists of mini reviews of products I've completely used up; essentially I'm showing you my trash. What I like most about these posts is that since I've used up the products completely, I can give you a full review, plus let you know if I would repurchase them or not.

Makeup
-Clinique Stay Matte Oil-Free Makeup: I think this was the first high-end foundation I ever bought, and I can't believe I completely forgot I still had some. Back in the day, this was my everyday go-to foundation and with good reason; I recently rediscovered it and finished off the last bit. This is an oily girl's dream! It  gives a completely matte finish without ever feeling too heavy on the skin or looking too caky, and it stays that way for the whole day. Again, a very good option to look at if you have oilier skin, and they offer a very wide color range. I will definitely be repurchasing!
-NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: I know I go on and on about this one guys, but I just haven't found anything that works so amazingly for my dark circles. It's very creamy, brightening, and highly pigmented. Needless to say, I have already repurchased this one as it is a holy grail product for me.
-Benefit The POREfessional: You can tell in my previous post that this one was barely hanging on to its life, and it has finally moved on to a better place (not really it's in the dumpster). A very good foundation primer, that completely blurs any pores or fine lines to prepare the skin for foundation. It really helped my foundation go on smoother and last longer. Even though I really did enjoy it, I won't be repurchasing just yet because I have my eye on the Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector.

Skincare
-Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser: Technically I still have one use of this left for when I come home tonight from karaoke (yes, I very much enjoy it especially when ABBA comes on), but I wanted to include it anyway. This is a very gentle cream cleanser, perfect for taking off the bulk of your makeup (I usually follow up with a cleansing balm). It has a very light, fresh smell that kinda reminds me of Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo, and the 8oz has lasted me a year, so I think those were $23 well spent. I would certainly repurchase.
-Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream: I've dedicated a whole post to my Kiehl's products, and it was a sad day when I used all of this up. So far it is the best moisturizer I've tried for both day and night. It's ultra (as the name suggests) hydrating without being to heavy, soaks into the skin very quickly, and it doesn't have a heavy scent; all in all it is perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin. Will definitely be repurchasing soon.

Haircare
-Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum: I've mentioned this product before in my Current Hair Favorites  post. It's perfect for when my hair looks/feels dry in between washes. It just leaves my ends looking shiny and it clings to my hair like I would cling to Even Peters if I saw him walking down the street (I'm a sucker for that nerdy-doesn't-know-he's-cute look). If you're looking into this product, I'd recommend going for the the smallest size: it's $12 and lasted me about six months. Even though it's not that pricey and very good, I'm not repurchasing right away because I'd like to try other similar products like the ones from the Moroccan Oil range.
-Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist: I love how the packaging literally says: "Deeeeep Conditioning". It's a very affordable conditioning mask for that extra moisture we all need. It smells like coconut, so in my book that is uuh-mazing and it really lingers. Won't repurchase just yet because it's not as thick as I like my hair masks to be, and also because I'm currently trying out several other deep conditioning masks.

Random
So this one is a little (well a lot) TMI, so feel free to skip this paragraph if you want. When it comes to that time of the month, I'm a tampon kinda gal, mainly because I loathe the diaper feeling. Even so, a while ago I discovered the Always Infinity Pads. Guys, these...are...amazing! I never thought I would say that about a pad, but man are these good. At first I was: "Revolutionary memory foam? PUUUH-LEASE", but now I'm converted. There is zero, and I mean ZERO leakage. They are really thin, so no diaper feeling, and never slip around because they have wings. Again, I know this was very TMI, but come on we are all girls here! If we can't talk about this with each other, than who? Just go and try them, you can come back to this post and write a thank you comment later. I already repurchased these for when the curse comes knocking again next month.

Well guys that concludes the first ever Empties post on the blog. I hope it's a concept you enjoyed, and as always I hope it was helpful in some way. Let me know in the comments if you have tried or want to try any of the products mentioned, as well as if you have any further questions.

Thanks for reading!
